I quit some meds on my own (doctor agreed)

I dont want everyone to do this, but too many meds made me low functioning so I quit them on my own (always told my doctor about it, but was my idea) I quit a mood stabilizer, 6 mg of risperidone, Lorazepam and now promethazine. My pdoc said I made a good improvement on my condition. What do you think guys?

You need to find the right formula for you.
Some people need meds, but many people manage to recover better off meds than on them.

You need to tell your doctor. It’s not safe. How long have you not been taking them? the withdrawals are going to kill you man.

So you quit taking ALL meds?!?!
Not a good idea. Contact your doctor ASAP!

I told my doctor, I wrote that upside

I never liked Promethazine, I think it is a horrible drug as it makes me feel tired all day.
I was given it for insomnia but there are much better sleeping pills than that one.

Good luck! Keep in contact with your pdoc so that he can notice if the psychosis comes back.
