I saw my bariatric doctor today and she said that I no longer have diabetes!
She said that I’ve lost 20 pounds since I first saw her a couple of years ago.
Although I no longer have diabetes she said that I’m prediabetic but I am in danger of going into diabetes range if I gain lots more weight.
I don’t even think I’m prediabetic since my A1C level was 5.6, under prediabetic numbers.
This means that I no longer need to test for my blood sugar levels as often and I don’t have to be on such a restrictive diet.
I just have to continue to watch out for weight gain
I am so happy!

Great job! I also reversed my diabetes by losing weight. I’m in the prediabetic range now though because I gained almost all of it back

Thank you Everyone!
Yes it’s possible to go from being diabetic and going to no longer having diabetes or prediabetes.
I don’t think I even have prediabetes @fish_the_archer
But my doctor says that I do
