I need a soft block/suspension

I have a painful gum infection and it makes me incredibly cranky. I’ve already had a go at someone and I don’t want to alienate everyone here.

I need to, for 24h, be unable to post unless I message a mod to have it lifted.
I’d like to still be able to log in, read, and ‘like’ though.

Is that something that’s possible?

I think they call it silencing. You can’t post but you can message mods
