I may have found a car

I’m so excited. So my uncle bought a house down here in AZ to use as a rental and the house came fully furnished and with a CAR. Mind you the car is super ugly but my dad told me my uncle might sell it for super cheap just to get rid of it. My dad thinks my uncle would take 3000-3500 cash for it and I told my dad what if I put a down payment of like $1500 in June then pay the rest off later in the year. Kinda like a family arrangement type thing. My dad is gonna talk to my uncle and see what he says. It’s a blue Chevy HHR with only 77k miles on it. It’s well maintained by an elderly couple who used it to go local places. We know it needs front struts which would be around $1000-1200 to replace. But it’s completely safe and reliable even if it took me a few months to be able to get it fixed. I’m so excited I hope it works out! Just means I gotta save up about $500 a month.

Did I mention it’s ugly? Here’s what the car looks like. Also that’s not my address in the photo that’s just a random internet photo

At that price and mileage it’s not ugly at all! Come up with a funny nickname for it based on its appearance and joke about it so you can laugh it off. I’ve done that with an ugly car before

Yes my family nicknamed it the “ jalopy”

Nice! It’s not ugly, it’s… uh.. unique!! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I actually don’t think it’s ugly.

Honestly I don’t care what it looks like. For that price and for how low miles it has on it I’m not gonna complain! I just hope it works out

I loved the look of HHRs! My grandpa had one and I always thought it looked cool.

Paint the front fender black and it will look like a moustache!
