Hi @Jonnybegood. How do you convert, say, a wma or mp3 music file to Soundcloud – or any medium that can be used here?
You just need a SoundCloud account it does it for you with all those formats.

Yeah it’s free. Although they have premium accounts it’s not necessary.
Right. Premium just gets rid of advertisements and such.
Allows more upload time. There’s a limit of about 3-4 hours of upload time on a regular account. There’s a few features better for a premium account 
they tell you the difference when you sign up. I never paid for my SoundCloud in my life though. If I was a professional I would though.
I just have some old recordings I want to share. Some stuff I did 30 years ago. Thought it might interest somebody.
