I work in a neighboring city from where i live so I had to go over a bridge across the Mississippi river. I almost got stuck on that.
Almost didnt make it up a hill as well this morning. THen I went to my parents to pick up my work shoes and badge and stuff and tried to park in the driveway. I slid back down it in park.
It was really bad early in the morning but I stayed on the main streets on the way home and did not have as much trouble.
I did have to pull over on the way home at a gas station because I forgot to clean off my headlights and couldnt see very well through the ice.
Anyway, made it. Now just have to shovel again tomorrow.
Wasnt able to park in garage because someone plowed alley behind house and there was the buildup pushed close to garage. Was afraid if I plowed through I would slide into garage and then have to fix it again .
Crazy day. Were probably only half the normal Saturday workforce at job. At least that would be my guess. LOt of people mustve called in and said they couldnt make it. I was tempted to myself, but did not.

Didnt really have much choice. I have 4 points for calling off twice. Once when I was sick and once when they had a road closed off and I got lost trying to find an alternate route(and before anyone says “why didnt you use gps”, my phone has a very unreliable internet connection when Im not home. I use wifi on phone when I am home but my plan really blows for connection out and about. Its the price I pay for 15 dollars a month phone service) Anyway, once you get 8 points there is disciplinary action(probably firing). You get one point for a partial day absence and 2 for all day even if you call in and dont get a no call, no show. So, if I skipped today I would have 6 points, with no margin of error for a sick day in the future until my current points come off.
I did think about it anyway, though. But decided I would not risk it.
Man Amazon sucks now I can’t hide all my sex toy orders on my Amazon account now. And if somebody goes on my computer and click on Amazon, it goes right to my account. And if they go to my orders, it’ll see all that crazy stuff I ordered. And then sometimes it’ll just bring up by it again and they’ll be some crazy sex toy appearing there in the picture.
