lol this kitty cat has asked me to turn on the sink like 4x already this morning. I’m getting worried he’s drinking too much…
And wasting electricity by keeping the water running. I’m too nice ;). I keep turning it on for him, despite the clear demonstration that he could drink from THE BOWL, that he does too when he doesn’t have me to turn on the water for him.

Cats like running water more as in the wild they tend not to drink stagnant and still water, but rather from running water like a stream. It is an inbuilt genetic hard wiring.

You can get cat water fountains, which are low on the electricity usage and always offer the cat running water.
This is so funny ! 
We just leave the tap dripping. It doesn’t use electricity to run water unless it’s hot water. Cold water just adds onto your water bill, which is included in the rent for most apartments.

When my Mondo Kitty was at the no-kill shelter, he had a cat water fountain. Even now, ten years later, he will swish his water bowl around with his paw before he drinks out of it!
