I m struggling to claw position at my hand when cutting any chef here to explain?

i m practising cutting veggie and fruits but i m struggling to use my claw hand.i just read and watch couple thing but still hard for me.is there a any chef can explain how to use my claw hand

The video demonstrates it properly. Keep practicing until you develop the hand strength and the muscle memory.

actually i m struggling to move knife toward food when i hold as claw.

I’d need a hand if I tried that- literally!!

don’t fix your claw hand but allow it to “glide” with the knife chopping as you glide…keep your claw hand with bent digits very safe…you don’t want to lose a finger.

yes it s quite hard a make symetrical cut when you try to use claw position
