I visited with family today in a restaurant. Everyone was engaged in the conversation but I couldn’t hear any of it

I can’t afford hearing aids so I go without.

It’s very frustrating to miss so much

You tried cleaning them out? There are kits you can get to do so.

I don’t want to frighten you but if you’re hard of hearing and don’t get hearing aids then it increases your chance of dementia.

I have the same problem, except that I hear okay, but the sounds are so scrambled I can’t make them out. It’s very frustrating.

Yes, they’re clean. I have mild to moderate hearing loss @Mars

Sorry about your hearing loss. That’s certainly not an easy to fix issue.

Im the same way, especially when multiple people are talking I cant hear anything.
