it’s cool that most schizophrenics are creative. It gives them something to hold onto. I am unfortunately not creative at all. Atleast most of you can say you’re creative. Any other non-creative schizophrenics on this forum?
It is not true that most schizophrenics are creative.
Schizophrenia harms creativity in a terrible way.
Most people here have at most mild cases of schizophrenia.

I read that sz worsens creativity, but conditions like schizotypal pd increase creativity. Do you have relatives that are super creative? I do. It’s one theory why schizophrenia is so prevalent: we pass on creative genes and mates like that lol.
I’m not creative at all, but didn’t you mention that you write well? That’s great man. We can be creative in many ways. I’m pretty creative when it comes to mathematics. I might not be smart or great at it anymore, but I’m still above average. I just need to study and practice again. I find different ways of solving problems fun. I wish I could write like you…

My sister-in-law is always saying how she isn’t creative or good at anything. But the ways she designed all of the rooms in her house is amazing.
I told her that she was actually a designer, and wasn’t even aware of it!
I think everyone just needs to find their medium of creativity. Ive always considdered myself not to be creative until recent years i started finding ways in telling stories to my daughter to let out creativity

Not schizophrenic. Not creative.
I’m sza. I was told that I was uncreative by my former best friend as she exited my life. That was a very hard blow for me. I always thought of myself as a creative being: poetry, short stories (genre: horror), writing my autobiography, composing easy listening music very prolifically. So it was a real insult when she said that and it ended our fourteen year friendship. She also told me that I was “fat, stupid, and ugly”. And then, she took off for a different state.
