I’m facing my first daunting hell

The general theory of relativity. It came to me unexpected like a thief in the night. Something so intellectually rigourus that very few people have understood it. Almost like it can’t be understood. It’s consumed me in the first few minutes much like a beautiful woman would intrigue men. A love so strong that I will stop at nothing to understand it. I will turn my focus to her until I understand. A hell and heaven.

Does anybody here understand it? Is it true that very few people have understood it?

They got my ass again.

i’ve honestly never thought about it, if i went back to school i would try to become physical therapist, im more interested in health, not much of an academic myself.

I don’t even understand the word relative. :joy:

All that I recall of general relativity, is that Einstein reshaped our understanding of space and time, overthrowing the Newtonian View that mass attracts. Rather large celestial objects create gravity Wells

And, general relativity predicted the existence of massive binary black holes, which have been confirmed

Apparently, it is very eloquent in mathematical terms

Do I understand general relativity? Hell no LOL

@cragger fetter me through this like the dummy I am. If his theory is true why doesn’t the car appear to get faster or slower as I get closer or does it?

Suppose a truck is going 50 and kids are throwing a ball. They observe it going at ten. Then she says it feels like they’re not moving. I’ve been in the back of a truck it feels like you’re moving. I’ll give her the fact the ball does appear to go at ten. The person in the front also sees it at ten and the kids don’t see stuff in the car moving like the person in the front. Not entirely true because doesn’t the smelly tree move. I guess the tree is essentially the ball going at the same speed for the kids and driver.

My first thought is it has something to do with planes of time. Picture the following example. Draw 4 lines on a piece of paper. The bottom being the observer outside of the truck, second the vehicle, third people and fourth ball. The fourth line or the observe is farthest away. So on and so forth. As you go up a line it appears to go slower or maybe reverse. Maybe the lines are different lengths. As you go up a line you get bigger or your sense of speed changes. I guess the next question is figuring out why the planes don’t go in order. It would seem logically like it’d be linear. It always get bigger faster or slower or w/e as you go up a line. It doesn’t though it can change verifiably.

Are we sure it can? @cragger The example with the planes carrying a clock as they go east or west. The time changes from the base clock. Aren’t they going from one speed or plane to another? If it was linear when they met the time would be the same. Are we sure the time doesn’t go back to the same? Hmmm🤔 I guess it’s experienced different waves or levels or planes so it can’t ever go back.

Time is on different levels often referred to as speed. If you’re on the same line your seeing things on the same plane or at the same speed. There is source or the speed of light which always stays the same like GOD. I need God lol.

As the car comes closer, it will seem to accelerate, even though it’s speed hasn’t changed.

I want to say Doppler effect, but that’s not it. I think that 1 has to do more with waves

I remember studying that in high school loong time ago.

I hope I’m not snitching I just need to fetter this out.

I did relativity equations in college physics class, physics 3. I forgot everything though, I just remember E=m.c²

It’s a shame you have forgotten @Aziz

I think the question is out of range from me right now. I’m tired, and I’m not even sure I can track

I have my own understanding of these theories, but my understanding deviates from Einstein’s.

sounds like you’re not being easy on your brain. i try to keep my mind a fun place for me now only thinking about easy things that are interesting. einsteinian relativity is banned from my brain given that it is math heavy and is about physical law which is something im not interested in.

I suppose the clocks traveled through time. That’s kinda why people get layover tired. Then you go to agreed upon time or wave or plane again. It takes awhile to go back to that plane. So why the duck didn’t the clocks sync back up after or did they? If humans can sync back up why can’t objects. Possibly cause humans move at a different speed than clocks. Wouldn’t they be going at the same speed if they’re on the same wave as the speed of light never changes? So can objects travel through time but not humans? It’s like objects are permanently changed by time travel we’ll humans are not? So how the ■■■■ do you get the human to do what the clock does. What’s the difference between humans and objects? The clock is smaller than a human. Hmmm…

Are we sure the speed of light doesn’t change? If everything else is always moving changing why can’t the speed of light? Bam… it could change unless I’m not understanding something which I’m clearly not. You could say nothing is constant but that’s not true because I always need a cig.

The speed of light can’t be constant. We think it’s constant because we’re observing on the same plane. It can’t be proven. I don’t know that probably sounds dumb. If we don’t know the speed of light has always been the same. How do we know it’s the same as different planes? You could measure it in a moving car or standing. It would be the same I’m positive the test has been done. Even the test done at the exact same time down to the millisecond. There’s a problem with that could be a micro of the general theory of relativity.

The speed of light never changes in a vacuuming or on the same plane but the universe isn’t a vacuum it’s infinite. That could potentially explain why the clocks changed time. It doesn’t necessarily have to be the general theory of relativity. I guess if a bunch of people figured it out it’s true. You might laugh and say we’ll of course the universe is a vacuum. Have we been to the whole universe? Damn I’m dumb.

The video I watched was full of lies lol. Got my ass again.

For example how can the example of five clocks. All be set at the same time. One being in the remaining place. Then two sent in each direction. Wouldn’t the two sent in the same direction be the same time? There was no other variable.

So I got taken for a ride yesterday. I expect nothing less at this point. Something intrigues me about how massless such as asteroids and planets have gravity. Is the time the same on all centers of gravity or massless? How do centers of gravity intermingle?

If black holes are like Star Wars. Talking about the movie here. Being funny hahahaha ummm uh hahaha. Were they portals to different galaxies parts of the universe or are they entirely different universes? Did they have different leaders? It could’ve been both galaxies and universes had different leaders?

That movie obviously doesn’t make sense according to our known science. How can a star in the universe and galaxy implode creating a portal? Begs the interesting question what’s at the center of black holes.

So my thought is that gravitational pull is stronger on different masses creating a different time? It makes sense that it’s not the same. So it seems like the same sizes massless would have the same gravitational pull. But if that’s true wouldn’t bigger or smaller masses eat others. Are black holes really spontaneous explosions or are they smaller or bigger massless eating each other? That doesn’t make sense because wouldn’t smaller or bigger massless around the imploding star be eaten to. That doesn’t make sense because wouldn’t all things humans objects be eaten by gravity. Unless the pull on some massless is so strong or weak that it does eat up things. Then essentially wouldn’t that not even be a mass but a black hole. So some black holes are stronger than others. But then wouldn’t that be a mass in a black hole proving the predominant theory of what’s in a black hole wrong. I think there is something in the center of a black hole. This all seems like circular logic that we’ll never discover. If mass is just being added to a black hole wouldn’t it be more mass. The theory about the sizes of stars is completely wrong. Based on my understanding if it’s correct the theory is wrong.

I wonder what creates gravity. I’m understanding the concept of gravity but not really wtf it truly is.

A black hole is like a fabric sheet with a hole representing gravitational pull. If that’s truly the case doesn’t that disprove the theory. Atleast the theory only holds true for the observable universe. Hmmm…

The color of a star is just the gravitantional pull. We are missing something about the size of stars. How does gravity affect the size of stars? There is probably a link. There is definitely a link between mass, color and gravitational pull. There is probably source, math, color, then gravitantional pull. Where does sound factor in? Math is probably not on the layers it’s just an explanation. Color is just something else being gravitantionaly pulled. Like how a ball in the back of a truck appears to go slower? So would colors be different on other masses more than likely? When we we went to the moon did astronauts see different colors or do eyes only see certain colors thereby adjusting everything? But how the ■■■■ would they adjust. Colors are for sure a different speed. But why would there be different colors or speeds based on the size of gravitational pull. I think our understanding about the speed of light and/or size of stars is wrong. This is all circular it all comes back to one thing gravity and wtf is it. It’s not suppose what’s it a black hole that is the biggest question to understanding the university. It’s wtf is gravity not how it works. Gravity is like the God of the universe it pulls and controls everything. I’m almost certain of the following that everything EVERYTHING in the universe is an allegory of god and his workings. It’s all to be understood like reading a story of symbolism.
