Probably one of the most prolific bands of all time. The Cure managed to start as a punk band, then they went through goth and new wave phases until pretty much creating their own sound.

I grew up listening to the cure in the 80s and early 90s and they’re one band that I will always love.

17 Seconds and Pornography are my favorite albums. I definitely hope I get a chance to see them live before they retire. I heard the new one is good too. I read the bass player for the Cure’s biography last year. Its worth checking out if you’re into the UK 80s post punk/goth scence. There’s a lot on Joy Division in there too.

I listened to the new album & its pretty good, i was in an indy record store in Stirling & they had loads of copies of it on vinyl, the young girl there was into them too & she looked about 16 so even young flok love it, i might try getting a boxset or something from them if they offer it, i was never a goth but i love their sound.
