I got my new cinema card two weeks ago where I pay £16.99 a month for unlimited movie watching so it’s real good value and I only live a 10 minute walk from the cinema. Been to watch Black Phone 2 and very much enjoyed it. Went with a friend and used my disabled persons CEA card and they got in for free, basically who ever goes with me to the cinema gets in for free. I like watching the trailers. Also I can bond with my friends and community nurse talking about the latest films which I enjoy. Do you like watching films as well?
I don’t like watching films even on TV ![]()
That sounds like an ideal setup though, if you’re just 10 minutes from the cinema and you enjoy movies.
I only got to the movies a couple times a year…it’s just too expensive when an admission ticket is $16 and then the food and drinks are so ridiculously expensive that I have to resort to sneaking my own in. A trip to the movies with a friend comes to almost $50. I can’t afford it.
There is a McDonalds next to my cinema, you can take your McDonalds drinks in the cinema or any drink, sweets or popcorn brought outside the cinema really. UK cinemas don’t ban you from taking own treats in as long its not a full McDonalds meal.
