My sweet baby Nico has been throwing his food up. He wants to eat grass a lot if the times. My vet says he has to stay on uti food the rest of his life. He’s twelve years now. Have y’all ever had an issue with your pet?

How long has this been going on?
A couple weeks now.
I had a cat that kept vomiting up his food. After a lot of trial and error we determined he was allergic to chicken. I had to give him a Limited Ingredient cat food that had absolutely no chicken or chicken meal or chicken byproducts at all

I have to call the vet. I checked his stool no blood. I think he needs a
Different kind of uti food. He likes Bella’s food but it’s not uti.

My cat used to do this when he was alive. They found out he had hyperthyroidism and that it is common in alot of cats. Is your cat skinny too.

Sounds like your cat could be allergic to his food but I’m not a Vet.
He’ll be fine
Could be an allergy to the food or an additive. I would ask if he can have UTI supplements instead .

He’s about 12lbs right now. I’m going to leave the vet a message. I feel like he’s miserable and it’s my fault. I took him home when he was a month old.

It’s not your fault, @roxanna.
It seems like you’re actually doing a lot to help him by calling the vet and even noticing a change in his habits.
The vet will be in touch soon and probably have some advice for you.
