I keep my dad’s chihuahuas in my back bathroom. I haven’t always cleaned it every day and so there’s build up where they peed so idk how to clean it to get the build up taken care of. There’s a dog pee stain on my floor.
I would say acid is the best as far as I know.
Not sure what you guys use there.
Edit : I always thought Coca-Cola would do the trick !
Its time to experiment.
Cola and baking soda maybe?
Acid will work in fraction of seconds but I think it will be illegal at your place !
Yes you can give a try.
By the way ! I doubt baking soda will it react heavily?
Because just mentos candy reacts so heavily
yea careful with mixing cleaners i think if you mix acids with bases you can get a lot of fumes… dont pass out lol
They sell some floor cleaner at the dollar store that is just like PineSol. Buy one of those and put it straight on the stain and then mop.
Not acid but enzyme cleaner specifically made for urine.
I worry about the health of the dogs though. How long are they in there?
I clean it regularly. It’s just the stain I’m worried about. The dogs are fine. They’re my dad’s dogs but he has no where to put them in his house. They live there 24/7/365. If it were up to me I’d give them to a good home but they’re my dad’s dogs
In the bathroom? Confined in a small room is no way to live even if it is cleaned regularly. Those poor dogs. Can you convince your dad that you can’t keep them? Or give them to a good home without his approval?
I agree that it’s no life but my dad is hard headed. I could buy a leash and take them outside from time to time. I’m afraid to let them roam the house cos they’re not house trained.
I’ve talked to daddy about getting a fence that we can put in the front yard. But nothing has come of it.
Definitely get leashes for them. Definitely take them outside at least once a day. I understand they aren’t trained but you clean up after them in the bathroom, what’s the difference if it’s someplace else? Genuinely asking.
Yeah. I get it. I need to figure something out.
Please update us when you do. Being a responsible pet owner is doing what’s best for the animal. Even if it means letting them go to a better home.
Hey Loke, just wanted to check in to see if you’ve started working on a better solution for the pups?
Nothing I can do about it really.
I meant to ask if you bought leashes for them yet. I know you were planning to last time we talked. That’d be a great step in making their lives a little better.
