I don’t think you’re missing out. I don’t like breaded fried chicken.
I prefer a good chicken sandwich from Wendy’s.

The original crust is really good. But I like their grilled ones too. Now I want KFC. Thanks for that.

I agree with @everhopeful the singer burger is amazing.
Oh man, Jimbob, you are missing out. I love their “famous bowl;” I’ve had it two or three times in the past month. It’s mashed potatoes and gravy topped with corn, popcorn chicken, and cheese. So freaking good. With a cookie and a drink it’s only $5.
KFC is amazing! I love their mac and cheese famous bowl, their chicken littles, their extra crispy recipe, and their popcorn chicken is amazing too!
thet use to do a pulled pork chicken burger but stopped making it so its gone down in my rating now lol,
This thread has inspired me to go to KFC. I got the new mac and cheese bowl, and chicken tenders. They have awesome chicken tenders.
It’s chicken and it’s fried. Pretty much sums it up!
Mmmmmmmmmmmm kfc is the best
Good Ole Colonel eh? Lol. It’s good Jimbob. The potato bowl is really good like Leash said.

Last time I was at kfc I had chicken nuggets and they were delicious.
A touch expensive compared to ones you have at home in deep fryer but really good.
Apparently they have vegan burgers now.
I can’t afford to eat out that often because I have quiet a lot of expenses at the moment but maybe in the future I will try a vegan burger.
You should try.
It is a experience.
Let us know what you think when you have tried😜.
I have not had that many things from kfc n I have not eaten there many times .
A handful of times maybe.
I like potato bowls with a side of macaroni.
popeyes chicken is better than kfc imo, taste like spicy cornflakes like, thick, crunchy, battered, and juicy chicken deep fried to perfection, kfc always messes up my order and the food is never hot, popeyes even when i get home the meat inside is so hot that i still have to let it cool off.
there dipping sauces are great like hot honey (which i think is the same as sweet heat just renamed). now that im thinking about fried chicken im tempted to have another cheat day, local fried chicken places can be really good or suck depending on where u live, in chicago the independent non-chain restaurants all seem like fried chicken experts
Popeyes is down south or maybe in black Chicago. It’s not everywhere.
there are 3000 popeyes across the us in over 40 states, you’re lost if you think they are only down south or in “black” chicago, that kind of response or even any response at all was unnecessary, especially considering i wasn’t even talking to you, and i didn’t even say that there are popeyes everywhere. i was just stating how i like them better than kfc, and how i’ve enjoyed the one around me.
I’ve lived here almost all my life and we don’t have one anywhere. They were popular in the 80s in major cities. Let me see if I can find you their demographic.

ATLANTA - Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has big plans to expand its presence in the United States, while its competitor KFC has its focus on the international market, Bloomberg News reports. Popeyes has rolled out a new menu and ad campaign aimed at courting white diners.
CEO Cheryl Bachelder, who was an executive with KFC, said Popeyes would be ramping up the number of U.S. locations to 3,200 ?" twice its current number. “We??ve really reached the hearts and minds of a much broader customer base,” said Bachelder.
Currently, 40% of Popeyes customers are black, but that demographic is shifting as locations are opened in predominately white areas. Sales at Popeyes will increase around 13% in 2012. Overall, sales at U.S. quick-service restaurants will only bump up 1.9% this year, according to IBISWorld Inc.
In contrast, same-store sales at U.S. KFC locations jumped 1% in its most recent quarter, while Popeyes??s soared 8.1%. “We feel good about our strategy going forward,” said Virginia Ferguson, spokeswoman for Yum! Brands, which owns KFC. “We??re focused on delivering the world??s best chicken to our customers.”
But Popeyes has its “work cut out to suburbanize,” said Bob Goldin, Technomic executive vice president. Surbanites are more likely to go to Panera Bread than a fried chicken place, he said.
