I’m having so much pain in 4 areas of my abdomen that I haven’t been able to jog or walk on the treadmill, use the elliptical or exercise my abs for the last 6 months.
I thought I pulled muscles so I waited a long time to see if it would heal. It hasn’t. Anyway, the surgeon says I either have hernias or adhesions from previous surgeries, because the pain is where I have various former surgery scars.
Either way, I’m getting either hernia repair surgery or exploratory surgery. Not sure when yet.
It’s ok. It’ll just hurt really bad but I’ve been getting that pain anyway. It’ll just suck for a bit. Usually if I contort my body in a certain way I can get the pain to lessen. I’m going to ask them if I can do that. Hopefully I can. I’m trying to have the attitude that the extra pain is worth it because it’s one step closer to getting rid of the pain for good
