I’m having chest reconstruction on Monday morning. I’m a female to male trans guy. I’m incredibly nervous. And kind of worried about it being a trigger for another episode or something. Then again could be a nice distraction. Might be posting quite a lot

My X Mrs had a breast reduction and it was a crazy bit of work. I feel for you because it really is a major operation. Hope it all goes well and good for you!

Good luck tomorrow. I have reconstruction surgery next month. It is a little scary but they’ll take such good care of you.
If i may ask, implant? are they putting an expander in? how long are you staying in the hospital for?

They’re not putting anything in, just removing my breasts and reconstructing it to be more masculine

Surgery went well! Didn’t throw up, came close a few times but I made it through.

Yay! Glad it went well! How are you feeling pain wise? How long are you in the hospital for?

I was only in the hospital for about an hour after I woke up and the procedure was 2 hours! Super short stay, which I’m glad about it. It’s very mild for what happened. They gave me a long lasting (4 days) numbing short plus good pain meds

well this is the first time I saw this thread and I"m glad for the happy ending about your surgery being over and well for you. what a relief !
