I was hospitalized, feeling very unwell. Turns out it’s covid. I last tested positive for covid three weeks in June. Then tested negative after that. The doctor determined it isn’t residual. I have a new strain, but it is highly unusual to get it again within 90 days of getting it, and unusual since I got the iv antibodies. So this is rare I have it again. I’m taking paxlovid starting tomorrow, and can’t take my statin for five days. It interacts with my geodon so this will be extra touchy. I hope it goes well. I’m quarantined for ten days this time, instead of five. Away from my family for ten days? Sounds like a lovely vacay to me……lol hope they don’t burn the house to the ground……

All these people getting it really should motivate me to get 2nd booster(4th shot), I’m due.

Yep, get that booster @Bowens protect yourself as much as you can. The vaccines are worth it for sure.

I hope you recover quickly. My family had covid twice, I only had it once and it was before the vaccines. First 2-3 days are the worst then it got better for me.

I try to be out of the ordinary, but this isn’t how I really want to be remembered……the girl who got diseases. Lol

Yah, it seems like it’s a thing now. It’s very wearing on me, as I’m always some degree of sick I feel. I just have no immune system anymore. Everything is terrible when it shouldn’t be.

I’m sorry. That really sucks. I’ve been sick many times because my immune system isn’t great so I understand. I hope you feel better soon. Being sick long term is especially awful

Hope it’s not a bad strain and you recover quickly. This covid is just the new normal for us too it seems. Going rampant through the place at the moment.
