I don’t start until April, but I will be advising my local health authority on the creation of peer support programs!

Congratulations. Every now and then the VA advertises for a peer support specialist here. I thought that would be a great job for me. You have to be mentally ill to get the job. But I never get a call because I don’t have the training.

I have read the training is two weeks but it’s hard to get a spot in my state. You would think they would just sign you up for it but no.
