I was told it was for mental health tech but it was actually for skills specialist, which I much prefer anyway. I’d mainly be leading groups and can do some art with patients. It’s at a psych hospital. This would be amazing for my career. She dropped a ton of hints that I had the job before I even walked through the door.

That’s good to hear. Some days at work are better than others but having a job gives you a good feeling, to know you are part of the system and giving back, I always felt bad being on disability but at the same time I was extremely thankful it was available. (No offence to anyone that can’t work, I use to be in that position too)

When you get your degree in psychology please empathise wth patients when they say the voices are real people and how bad they can get
Psychology,google etc never gets across how real they can be IMO
