I sent a message to my cousins old no longer used Facebook account.
I had no way to reach out because the family is opposed to her transition. They wouldn’t give me her current number and don’t want anyone encouraging this.
Well, she checked her account and sent me her new account friend request!
We talked last night and today!
She’s doing well overall and had re-assignment surgery in April!
We’re going to get together in July

Thats nice to hear. Trans are not well received over here in my town. Too many idiots.
@Naarai , they aren’t accepted most places. They are often ostracized and even abused.
My cousins kid (young adult) is transgender
He is the nicest person
Our entire family supports him wholeheartedly
Funny Story - My trans mate who was in the Royal Air Force used to frequent the pub i was in, when i was drinking. I used to kiss her on the cheek, knowing full well it would piss off the regulars that thought she was some kind of freak.
The biological females were fascinated tho - and wanted to know what her post op vagina looked like - so she used to go to the toilet and show them lol.
