I feel like I'm going to be fine

Meds didnt really do anything for me. Same symptoms at 10mg of Abilify and 2.5mg now. I am scared to stop taking my meds though.

Don’t stop them without talking to your pdoc.

I’ve monkeyed around with my doses on my own lots of times but never managed to get totally off. I get completely psychotic before i get there. The meds make me feel better so i think I can get off them but I’m only better cause I’m on them. Coming off brings back the whole storm. Don’t adjust your meds on your own, you’ll regret it.

Dont always listen to ur pdoc. I find some are not cautious enough when helping a patient lower their meds.

I know mine wanted me to stop my seroquel “cold turkey” from 25 to 0. I am sure i did the right thing by lowering it more gradually. Same thing with abilify.

I know my body better than my pdoc does. Always be very cautious.

@anon1152203 i thought the exact same thing about a year ago, tried it and failed spectacularly thats why i will say to be careful and if you do want to try then ask the dr if he can help you with your decision.

@anon1152203 I know exactly what you mean. I really want to just stop taking meds. I wish I could just go back to before I ever started meds and be totally oblivious. But we both know that’s not the way it works. I’m sorry but you can’t go off your meds. Most likely you’re going to take some kind of med for the rest of your life. Sorry, but in my opinion that’s just the way it is.

I think my voices could’ve been drug induced so I’m stopping my Latuda since I ran out anyway. P’doc upped my anxiety med so I think I can do it. If the voices come back I’ll take it again. I just hate the flat side effects of AP and want natural remedies instead.
