I suppose all celebrations have been completed already, no need any longer, my bd is in September, but I think I have already celebrated, nobody came to my party … :smile:

I never celebrated my birthday …dont know why …??? I think its one decision to whether celebrate it or not …keep it simple man …

No I am not going to do anything, I already got my birthday gift, so something to be happy about.

It’s my birthday today, I had a family get together on friday which was my parents choice. It was okay, but if I had a choice I probably wouldn’t celebrate it.

Maybe in September you’ll feel differently. I was astounded to turn 50. I still can’t believe it. You must celebrate in some way, @mjseu, and honor all the things in this life that you’ve triumphed over. :slight_smile:

I have bern thinking about my past life, for example all travels in America and elsewhere, somehow I feel that these mean nothing now, surely there are nice photos, but so is the Internet full of nice photos, I try to be very practical, down to earth, I think in Sept I feel in the same way, I had planned to go to one event in Sept, but now I decided against going to this event.

My dad didn’t want to celebrate his 50th either. I think it was because he wasn’t really happy with where he was at in life, he’d been over a year without a job at that point.

Thankfully he is employed again now :slight_smile:

I did want to celebrate my 50th birthday and so I did, but I did it alone as I celebrated my 40th birthday, nobody ever comes to my parties, well I did and so I do not need to celebrate it again. I got a few birthday presents, I purchased these by myself, I am happy about that, I am still waiting to receive one gift.
