Today my boss and I went to an awards dinner. The grant I wrote for my ideas (2 recliners and 4 big bean bags) was accepted and we were awarded $800.
My boss asked if I would go up and accept the check since I wrote the grant.
Turns out you need to give a short acceptance speech. In front of all the people.
I did it!!!
That is huge!!! Major congrats on such a big accomplishment- a grant and pulling off a speech is definitely something to be proud of.
