I mean shorter than it has been in a long long time… its just sits on my shoulder now.

As a person who also has very long hair,

I totally get it.

However,

I’ve been reading a lot about hair lately because I’m considering some changes.

A lot of articles say that shoulder length hair is most flattering and versatile.

Nothing a good dose of time won’t solve!

I think if I was female and I tried a short haircut I’d be afraid I’d get addicted to it being in the way less. I love short hair as a dude, very low maintenance.

yep. i used to have long hair. now its shaved to a number 7. before that it was undercut so still short. and before that it was prob to upper back. its been short for probably 3 years now. and thinks i enjoy are its very easy. it cant get messy. it doesnt get in my face. hair doesnt end up in the shower. when its windy it doesnt blow in my face. and its cooler on my neck in the summer.

im thinking of letting it grow out but not looking forward to that stuff.

I actually prefer it short especially as I never tie it , it’s just more convenient and easier to maintain this way … it just looks very different… Especially since I have more grey now.

oh shoulder length is plenty long…but I do love long hair on a woman.

I buzz my own hair and have shaved a strip off in the back many times.

I think shoulder length hair looks very nice and Is easier to manage and style. Also, as one gets older, long hair just doesnt look as good on many women. One of my aunts has had long hair her entire life and it looks progressively worse over the years as she aged.

I buzzed my hair really short… it’s cuz I don’t really like dealing with hairstyles and (I know it’s gross) but I don’t have to worry if it looks too dirty if I haven’t showered in a week.
