I can have a conversation but I have trouble reading and watching stuff now; is this normal? Anyone like this?

I can focus on having a conversation with someone one on one but I have trouble with focus/concentration when I’m reading and watching movies. I also have trouble learning in a group setting (following what the instructors are teaching).

Is this normal? Does it get better? Anyone like this?

I’m in the same boat, I guess.

The best way to improve is to expose and practice.

Yea. I have this. I can’t even play video games or read or learn to code very well.

I feel like I have Alzheimer’s or something…

I’m going to take sarcosine supplement to see if it helps.

I can’t even focus on weight lifting

this was really bad for me after my break, but has improved somewhat over time. best advice I can give is hope for a better tomorrow!

So it is normal to be able to focus in a conversation but not having the ability to focus on reading/watching?

Yea it’s normal wen on antipsychotics

Yes. Although I struggle with conversations to an extent too.

I think my logical/strategic-brain is intact though. I am still quite good at board games despite my deficits.

I have some difficulty with conversations. I’ll start off on a topic, and halfway through i’ve forgotten a word that is crucial to the whole sentence. It really drives me mad! Sometimes i feel as though i’m losing my cognition.

I have the same trouble. When I stopped taking my ap, things improved quite a bit. But I had to start taking the AP again, things went back to the way they were. These symptoms seem to be a side effect of the AP I’m on.
