I called the ambulance on the neighbor

He takes seizure meds and had been drinking. It appeared as though he was hung over at first. Then it got to were he couldn’t stand up.

So after a couple of hours I said dude this isn’t right so I called, the ambulance man looked at me and said why didn’t I call sooner?!

He was my neighbor and I said what he told me to do one minute it was don’t call them I finally called is this my fault?

His seizure meds were to high end result but our local ambulance looked at me in a bad way.

Let’s just hope there is no permanent damage and all will be well.

You’re not a medical professional, so you didn’t know what to do. Once you realized it just wasn’t right, you called for an ambulance. Don’t worry about the paramedics. You did the best you could

The ambulance man was rude to me. I’m not the dudes wife or anything. I didn’t know what to do.

Personally I hate it when medical professionals are rude. They should know better.

I’ve had rude pdocs.

I think we all face situations where we have the choice of accepting a dangerous situation or call the authorities. A lot of the time the authorities don’t want to be called. I think you did right. This guy’s life could have been in danger - if he couldn’t walk and all.

You did the right thing. Good for you.

Years ago there was an elderly woman lost in a mall parking lot during a sweltering heat wave…looking for her car. I had an appointment to go to and couldn’t stay, so I called the Police to come and look after her. My phone call went like this…

Operator: “Do you seriously consider this to be an emergency?”

Me: “I consider an elderly lost woman with possible heat stroke to be an emergency, which is why I called.”

I was going to file a complaint against the rude operator, but just let it go.
