our auto insurance is through American Family
I’ve had it my whole life driving
never had an accident, never made a claim
Phil drives a Hummer, and I drive a Buick
we pay $158.97 each month.

I think that’s cheap. When I drove mine was at least $200/month.
Really?
I thought my insurance company was giving a discount
if you bundle all your insurance
they may have done away with that.
It depends upon what year your cars are, whether you have total collision coverage or just liability, and what you guys drivers records are.
years 2005 and 2006
yeah, I’ve got full coverage on both
couldn’t get the loan without it
That would be excessive in our market unless you have a lot of tickets (convictions) and demerits on your license. I pay about $70/mth USD for a 2018 Impala. My wife pays about $63/mth for a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. We’re both grid -15 (best rating) and clean licenses.
no nothing, Pixel, clean record, I’m too cautious probably
yeah, I like this company, so I’ll stay, they’ve always been good to us.
Wow. I must be in the wrong state. I paid at least $200 for full coverage
I pay like $75 a month for liability only on a 2001 Ford Taurus.
when I had Brownie, my Taurus
I was mad when it went up to 68 dollars a month
it always used to be 48. It stayed that low because of my clean record.
Phil has a few infractions which may be causing it.
Do you name your cars?
Yeah, we got Whitey and Hum now.
does your Taurus get heat.
we went through so much hell with Brownie.
Daze,
Do you drive the Taurus CLI?
Like do i get heat from the cops? Or does the heat work? No heat from the cops and yes pretty much everything works. I used to name my cars, too. I had an Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme named Quincy. That was my favorite car.
well, hello Patrick!
I believe it was Ford Taurus FS.
it was 2002. It only had 102K on it when we traded it
but everything needed work. Now I got heated seats and everything
in my Buick La Crosse.
tell me again I’m not targeted!
they told me it’s the whole way those cars are made
and I’ll never get heat in the car. Now you tell me you don’t have that problem.
My air conditioner leaks and we have to charge it with freon from time to time but my dad knows how to do that. Other than that everything works. The heat is actually really warm. I run it for a couple minutes and have to turn it off because i get too warm. Sorry.
they told me they’d have to take the whole dash off to fix
looking at thousands of dollars
we tried existing with a portable, so dangerous with ice and snow.
Never again for that car. glad yours is good.
I got it from my grandmother when she stopped driving. It only had about 53,000 miles on it. That’s probably why mine’s in good shape, the low miles. Glad you’re happier with your current car.
That sounds pretty good to me. I pay about twice that much but I have 4 vehicles and an umbrella policy. I like my insurance company.
When my son was on my policy I was paying close to $700 a month but he is 25 now and has his own policy so it’s not too bad for him.
