The pain meds are doing well with the arm, but my eye still hurts a lot.
Been a long time since I’ve felt this amount of pain.

Eye pain genuinely is one of my biggest fears…
I don’t know what to say about that …
I just dissociate to most pain now.
Sometimes it helps me to tell myself that sleep will restore most of the damage.
Like when you’ve been up to a certain point (from what I’ve read) the body apparently releases it’s own pain reducing chemicals to help you sleep deeply enough to heal.

so sorry this happened…my mom tripped and broke her femur last week…she is doing well and going to p t this week…she gets around and my brother and sister is taking care of her. so glad you got help…hope your eye heals well…if you smoke, stop…it is bad for healing.

Prayers your mom recovers quickly! That’s a big one to heal from.
Thankful I’m not a smoker or a drinker.
In elementary school, one time, this kid was biking down a small hill, fell of his bike, and broke both his hands.
Its as funny as it is sad.
