Well, i gave myself some “retail therapy” after getting out of the hospital on Monday…a new Samsung Galaxy S24+ phone. It wasn’t the cheapest phone but it wasn’t the most expensive either, about $800 with my trade-in. Honestly, i could afford it cuz i got the cremation plan i purchased before the hospital refunded.
Anyway, I’ve never had a Samsung but so far it seems nice. My old Moto z4 was running Android 10 and it was getting slow in it’s old age. It also had the “handwarming app”…that’s where you put it in your pocket and it heats up! I had a friend at my clubhouse figure out some of the settings and show me stuff.
I also saw my therapist and pdoc today, which was good since i was in the H. They both said that a phone is a much more positive purchase than a cremation plan.
I’m trying to figure out the camera functions so here’s a pic i took of Shadow…
