On the “about” page, it says on the Schizophrenia.com was started in 1995. I’m not sure if that includes the forum though.
Plus I’m not sure if you mean pre the new forum format. I have heard several times that they changed the forum years ago.

right. I was still on the old format in 2004.
can’t remember when sz admin changed it.
in 1995, I wasn’t diagnosed yet, so no idea.

I joined the old forums in late 1999 so it was going for a while till then. The new format was later but not really sure of the exact date.

I used to be on the NAMI boards which were just okay but then I discovered this site and haven’t looked back. It really is a great idea.
