I have been seeing and hearing things all day. I wonder if caffeine could do that. I feel I’m in a psychosis. I don’t know what to do.

Stop drinking it for a few days if you can, and see if it makes a difference..

Yes, Caffeine makes positive symptoms worse. My psychiatrist told me that.

It hadn’t happened before too many times and I freaked out a little. I’ll go caffeine free for a few days

please be honest with your pdoc roxy…I don’t think you’re telling him what’s wrong…is that the case?

Never heard of caffeine causing psychosis. Atlesst directly, possibly from the anxiety it can cause. Could be time for a new medication

I used to drink like 8 cups of coffee a day and drink alcohol combined with cigarettes, back in 2020. I was hospitalized 5 times. You can google it. Caffeine can worsen psychosis.
