It’s good that you are trying to control it. No reason too get pregnant or contacting an std.
I’ve read about bipolar and hypersexuality. It doesn’t seem fun when the crash comes and you realize what you’ve done afterwards.

Taking any APs. Some of them dampen sexual drive. Might help.
Yes it’s not fun but I do have control even when I was super I’ll and wanted to cheat on my trashy ex I didn’t it’s just hard the thoughts sometimes but I feel less hyper sexual today and less manic

I’m out off my vraylar and my only choice is olanzapine that I hate I have to wait till I see my new psych but I feel less manic and hypersexual today

Vraylar is partial dopamine agonist. Causes hypersexuality for some like aripiprazole.
You want something which dampens dopemine.

I would try seroquel but last time it made me lactate but Ik it can lower your sex drive and your right I didn’t even think about it but on vraylar I was hyper sexual to but ignored it cause olanzapine stopped mine lol when I see my new psych I’ll ask him what meds that I haven’t tried can help me with it

That’s issue of almost all APs which block dopamine. But each person has different experiences. I’m assuming olanzapine didn’t give you prolactin issues.
I was on amisulpride for years. It decreased libido significantly. But prolactin levels were not abnormally high. Were borderline. It did give me dysfunction.
It depends on dosage and how you respond. I didn’t have dysfunction on olanzapine.
Surprisingly one time it made me lactate but I wonder if it was olanzapine or med I was on before and it’s good you found a med to help☺️

Women are more at risk of lactating due to elevated prolactin. Men can. But I haven’t seen anyone on this forum. Some develop breast. Moobs. Luckily I didn’t develop moobs either.
