How serious a person are you?

I see alot of posters have a sense of humor.

What if anything are you real serious about.

I joke around a lot , but for the most part I’m serious about most things. I live a pretty boring life

you’ll be surprised how many jokes are obscurely serious, with some posters.

I’m very serious about a lot of things, but I also like to joke and laugh. I often don’t laugh at what others laugh at and sometimes laugh at things no one else is laughing at… But, I’ve been told countless times that I need to "lighten up ". I hate that.

Seriously???

I am both extremely serious and extremely silly. Most people just see the serious. Saturn’s effect.

The older I get the more serious I’m becoming.
I was basically a Joker in my 20’s.

I am sometimes very serious and sometimes very humorous. I try to be appropriate for the situation. I also never want to hurt anyone’s feelings so I am careful that my jokes don’t come across as shots.

it all depends on the situation… it takes a lot to cheese me off…you wont like me when im cheesed … lol…that’s a lego hulk quote…

it’s hard to be serious in real-life, when people prefer a man who makes them laugh

I’m nothing but a goof…

I dont neccassarily relate seriousness with anger, I can be serious without being angry

My whole life is as serious as a heart attack in many ways. I screw around as much as I can get away with but most of my life is not funny. But I have my moments all through the day.

This is some serious â– â– â– â–  were all dealing with here. If you still can have a sense of humor with this disease you are doing pretty damn good.

I think humor is good for recovery. Some times if I can’t laugh at some of the crazy ■■■■ I’ve done or have been through. I’d probably have to cry. Not a hard choice for me but it is a twisted and rough road getting there. Norms don’t quite get how painful some of those things we have been through are. It’s very offensive when they think they can laugh at our expense . You have to admit that this is a bizarre thing and a stranger illness could probably not be made up. I hope for the day when we can all appreciate some good humor. Laughter is good for the soul.

I have humor. I can smile at funny things. But create jokes myself? Not working for me now. Maybe further along the path of recovery. I used to be the class clown with witty answers to anything.

Laugh? It was a long time ago. But atleast I can smile. Anhedonia is a bitch.

I am very serious and even when I am joking people find it hard to tell the difference.

I’m too serious, but, when I get drunk, I become funny. I don’t get drunk anymore, but I think there is a funny guy that I don’t let be exposed.
