How quickly has one year passed

In two weeks it is again May Day, the 1st of May, and the May Day parade as it was in 2017, the time just passes so quickly, last year I posted photos of my town’s parade, it is always a Socialist parade, although May Day is celebrated by all kinds of people such as university students.

I remember May Day of 1987, I had been in Moscow just 1.5 months earlier and had got the Soviet flag that I had put on my wall in the place where I lived at the time. Then this May Day came and some other students served some alcohol drinks and I passed out. When I woke up the flag was gone, these other students had taken it and gone to the parade with the flag. I never saw this flag after that May Day.

Yea I thought of this today. I was mouth agape at how fast the year is passing. I figured that for me, the more I’ve learned to appreciate everything and everyone, the quicker time flies. Like the saying that says, “time flies when you’re having fun”. Just my two cents anyway.
