30 yo here too. Before that I’d come down with bouts of depression several times but never took any meds for it.

19 years old back in 1988
Diagnosed at age 25 – prodromal phase around 19/20
I was diagnosed with psychotic disorder NOS at age 21-22, and major depression with psychosis at 21, but wasnt diagnosed with sza until i was 26, since i went so long between episodes.
At the age of 23+ I got Sz. But I was unaware of it many years after. I knew it is psychosis but don’t know Sz.
Sweet 21 became sour

Diagnosed at 27, I think.
I was 38 years old. But I was diagnosed with mental illness at 16
Late 40s! In 2019.
I had my first psychotic episode when I was 15, but I am “high functioning”, and was able to get by. (Barely.) They mostly thought I had treatment resistant MDD for a long time. Went inpatient first time in '93, and when they asked if I heard voices, I lied.
Then, in 1994, this evil ■■■■■ of a therapist declared that I had DID. I spent many, many years frustrated with the wrong diagnosis. And she would actually get angry with me for “not doing the work”, aka “switching parts” and having them talk to her.
Had many years more of being labeled MDD (I had my nice friends in my head to keep me company; they had been since I was a kid), then BP2.
Kept struggling.
Had a MASSIVE psychotic break in September 2019. Got diagnosed Schizoaffective disorder, bipolar type.
Had just turned 23 I’m pretty sure

I’m only 20
I was 20. I was working at a drug store.
Ive been dealing with some form of mental illmess since i was a teen.
Hospitalized due to psychosis at 28 in 2021. Was coded under major depressive with psychosis and bpd.
When formally diagnosed later on it was switched to bipolar 1 with psychosis.
I highly suspect schizoaffective bipolar type due to having delusions outside of mania. But they arent making any moves since the meds would stay the same.
I was diagnosed with schizophrenia at age 20 in 1984.

Thats exactly what happened to me too, and now they say i have autism and sza and ptsd
I also suspect autism. But with the political climate I’m not getting tested just yet.
The bpd made no sense whatsoever. Especially in comparison to my ex wife who was actually bpd. I think they just slap in on in hospital when they are unsure.

17 I was dx’d with psychotic depression then at 21 I was dx’d with paranoid schizophrenia which was soon changed to schizoaffective bp
