I want to live past 100 years and a healthy lifespan.
Last night I had a nightmare I saw this guy in anguish.
He was really suffering a terrible disease and it freaked me out. A lot.
I think it was a warning dream for me to watch myself.
The way I’ve seen it a lot starts breaking down once you get into your 80’s. One of my great aunts lived into her 90’s and was very incapacitated and had a hard time getting around with her walker and didn’t enjoy life much…always breaking bones from falls and such so I figure around 80 before everything breaks down would be nice. But I figure I probably won’t last that long because of obesity, diabetes and smoking.
That just depends on the mood I’m in.
On the day of my hundredth cycle, I will die naked and screaming, holding a sword aloft as lightning takes me.
Must be in a decent mood tonight then, huh? Because you said “100”.
Why naked? Seems like an unnecessary perversion. lol. j/k
i dont really care tbh. im 30 and willing to accept im about middle age…thats okay with me
Yes, I’m in a good mood tonight. But as usual, I will wake up grumpy tomorrow.
60 is old enough for me. Life is hard and gets harder the older you get, I assume.
I’m already alive longer than the statistics say I should be.
I want to live to be a little over 90 years old.
Whatever age I live too I want to be relatively healthy and independent and live at home. I wanna be like my grandmother, she happened to die at 90 but right up until the end she lived at home and was pretty independent, she did have a person that helped her with some stuff like grocery shopping…
I don’t want to die
The older I get (and also since sz), the less I care.
@Ooorgle good imagery, LOL. And I agree
I wouldn’t mind living to be 200 in good health
I wouldn’t mind living a really long time “in good health” either. The only problem is, things really start to break down in your 90’s and beyond.
I’m not sure where you live, but in Canada there is something called Community Care. They offer help to the elderly and disabled, doctor’s appointments groceries Etc. They provide the Dignity of staying on their own as long as possible.
I used to volunteer for Community Care, doing friendly telephone visiting with an older gentleman, but he passed away unexpectedly in his sleep. I might be ready to try that again.
They saved my ass too, when I started grand mal seizuring a few years ago. They were my only ride to the grocery store, doctor’s appointments, Etc. And they were only 25% of the cost of a cab, plus you could make five or six stops while in town and there was no extra charges.
They do amazing work
I am from Canada. My grandmother got help from a lady that worked at some organization. I think it was called Companion Care Services.or something like that.
