How much do you love your psychiatrist

It’s hard, at least here! My mum was family doctor and she struggled to knew a good psychiatrist and send people there, it took a few years. There’s lot of people that don’t like their doctors. If you knew how many complains my mom had for bad psychiatrists you would be surprised.

Here (and I hope everywhere) they have revision appointments with other doctors to see if they are alright but sometimes it doesn’t work.

I crack jokes with my pdoc. He laughs so there’s that.

My psychologist is the first professional in this field that I kind of trust. She doesn’t push my boundaries too hard and she seems to handle my alters well. We are making good strides!

I really like mine. Apart from him thinking I’m a junkie, he’s really cool. He likes my style of dealing with shit) and I like his ideas of dealing with shit)

Alas, she will not return my love and devotion. My heart breaketh.

I recently got the same psychiatrist I met when I was 17 years old - I am 30 now. He’s a nice guy and wants to help. I hope he doesn’t remember when I spat my pills at the back of his head when I was in hospital as that was not cool! I ended up getting g wrestled to ground by the police and given a shot. That time I also threw a chair through a glass door and got sent to a forensic ward for a few days where I was groped by some weird guy and they moved me.

i love my pdoc but i see him only a few times a year. my social worker is also good. i like her very much.

what matters is they not only make me feel better they help me along with my life’s issues.

It’s a very complicated situation for me and my psych
