My delusions revolve around him being out to get me.
yes, I like my psychiatrist. He is really nice.
Sorry, I reset the poll because I forgot to check “show who voted” @jake @bobbilly . please vote again.
my new pdoc is awesome. He is very insightful and gives me advice. Much better than previous pdocs I’ve had.
She’s a nurse practitioner, she works under a group of psychiatrists I’ve never seen. But yes I like her very much.
Oh. That was you that did that. I was thinking maybe I’m in trouble with one of the mods, and they erased my vote.
I don’t particularly like my pdoc, but I’m not freaked out by him either.
I liked the one who retired maybe four years ago, but I wasn’t assigned to her. I was in some of her therapy groups back when pdocs did group therapies.
My current one is excellent.
I like my current psychiatrist very much, I even liked my previous psychiatrist, both female.
I had issues and problems with my first two psychiatrists.
They were both male.
I didn’t at first but we were on two separate pages. Giving time we understand each other now. My pdoc isn’t a total pill pusher. At first I was angry at this but gradually over the years I saw they were doing this for my benefit.
pdoc is fine, mostly i like my nurses, my pdoc says very litte to me. he lets the nurses do all the talking while he listens in, he is old too, like in his 80’s.
I just met my new pdoc 2 days ago so idk, she prescribed me Clozapine for negative symptoms, I guess if it works I will like her, if not I will hate her
My California psychiatrist was great. I hope I can find another good one in VA.
I really like this pdoc that I’m currently seeing! Much better than the last one
Gee, everyone except me and @bobbilly like their pdocs.
I stick with mine because there aren’t any others I know about accessible by public bus. Most of the ones we have are out Chenal Parkway in the well-to-do neighborhood.
He’s kept me on a community treatment order for last 9 years which mean forcible injection when I know I’m not mentally ill.
Thanks @bobbilly. I see why you’re not happy.
My psychiatrist is THE BEST. I kid you not, she is amazing. She listens to me blabber for an hour (she also talks). That’s a long appointment!! But she sees me every week, for a whole hour!!
My previous pdoc was nice, but she limited my appointments to 15 minutes. That’s not long enough!! I love my current psychiatrist so much.
It’s nice having a patient pdoc, who also provides feedback. You’ve got a good one @Blossom
