I have tried to quit several times. I don’t get very far. It is much too hard to quit when you have schizophrenia. My obgyn told me I am trying to stimulate my mood by smoking.
That maybe so.
My honest opinion though is that
A) smoking can be very pleasurable
B) smoking is very physically addicting.
So both your mind and body want it. There are millions- maybe even a Billion- smokers around the world and they all have reasons for smoking.
Ive also tried to.quit many times and hope to at some point. For now, I enjoy them
coffee feels so much better with food
Long ago. I’ve been off cigarettes for 7 years…and I’ve been off coffee for a while too…Might get back on it because I’m finding it hard with all the sedation…got off it for ibs like problems. When I smoked though…coffee and cigarettes for breakfast for 20 years!
Drink low sodium V8 veggie juice.
It is AMAZINGLY good for you and pretty tasty
I recommend that over coffee.
Coffed is good in very small doses. A couple times a week maybe.

Here is what I eat.
About 2 cups of brown rice a day. 2 tablespoons of olive oil. A cup of black beans. I mix the rice and beans and olive oil togegher and eat in two servings with mustard on it.
3 scoops of protien powder. 2 cups of milk. 2 cups of fruit juice (for two small protien shakes) Unlimited veggie juice (8-10) cups a day.
If you eat like that you will feel like a million bucks. If you excersize on top of that you will be a Tinder superstar.
And its delicious and relatively cheap
I do have cheat meals.but not many.
I eat good. I like a lot of food but am conscious of portion size and health aspects of food.
I don’t prepare or shop for my own food…Living back with the parents which makes a difference. If by myself I’d be a lot different. You’ve some good advice there and I’ll take it onboard…I think I’d be pretty similar…I do like a lot of protien in meat though!

Yeah I often eat meat on the weekends.
I used to live in a group home for a year and they served like hamburger helper and kd and stuff. I ate like crap and gained weight.
Once I got my own place and took control of my diet its been better. And I literally only cook the rice in bulk, then its just opening a can of beans or shaking a protein shake container.
My biggest fear in life is a relapse of some kind and losong my ability to control my diet
