Only English. I lived in Germany until I was 7.

My parents speak to me in German still.

How ever, I still can barely speak it

Ha… Dreadful :joy:

@Zoe We have a German group home worker in my Group home. I do think there is a difference between German humour and British humour but she is a diamond. She’s lovely!

I do agree with you. German humour is kind of weird I think. And English humour can be quite dry. That might be the wrong word, not really sure how to describe it.

That’s good that she’s alright. Always makes a difference when the home workers are lovely.

Thanks Wave. Yes I do understand basic German as my parents speak it to me.

Typical American. I only speak English, with a very small touch of Spanish. I grew up in the rural South. We didn’t have many electives outside of band and shop.

My German staff is the only one who watches my 600ib life with me.

Mostly just 1. English.

Oh, wait! I was able to communicate a good bit in 2. Italian with an Italian once…

Io capisco un po l’italiano, non molto bene.

Ah, and then there was the 3. German course in college. Ich spreche Deutsch nicht!

Working for so many Japanese companies, I really didn’t learn to speak much 4. Japanese. I suppose yes is Hai and no is Eeeeeyeh, or something like that.

  1. Mathematics is supposedly the language of science, and I lectured to college mathematics classes in the past.

If I start counting the parlance of specific fields I know, we’ll be at this all day. About 30 jobs in about 10 different industries, including legal software.

No, on my resume I maintain that I have only mastered one language, English.
