How long does APs stay in your system?

Thanks. I won’t do anything without my Pdoc agreeing.

You got this now… I think I need to have quitting smoking allways in the back of my mind. Someday I’ll get there asw well.

Was thinking of trying patch and gum again too, they work really well just hard to tolerate

For me it doesn’t work. I’m going full champix or some ■■■■ like that this time.

I tappered down from 800 mg qutiapine down to 600 mgs and Them lost 5 pounds of water weight. I’ll just wish you much luck in your journey to getting meds free. I’m one of the unfortunate ones who cannot go without meds but I’m happy and content with that.

I’ve found that the amount of time a single AP stays in my system varies. The first time I came off Prolixin it was about six or seven months before I started to notice symptoms. The next time is was two months. It seems to be that way for me with a lot of AP’s.

Depends on the half life of the specifc medication and duration on use. Could be a few days or a week depending on few factors. Most people relapse with the first two weeks so safe to say it’s completely out the system by that point. Antipsychotics can also induce structural brain changes which may or may not reverse also.

Longer for LAI’s just use the half to equate current dosage it should mainly be accurate

No. There’s no answer in google about long lasting side effects. For taking the pills almost 10 years (or more).
