How does your home look? Is it a house or an apartment? Do you live alone or with people? Is it neat or messy? Do you like it or not?
Mine is a small apartment, floor level, I like it very much since it’s neat and welcoming. I have my stereo and now even wifi…
Good food, and a comfy bed.
I live alone though hopefully not for long. And I have a cat which isn’t mine but he visits me every once in a while and I feed it… He’s very dirty and pretty aggressive though so I don’t really get close to him/her.
I live with my family in a house. Ssome parts are organized but there;s a lot of useless stuff like boxes and books. I’d like our house to be minimalistic.
Right now, mine is quite messy. I cleaned most of my bedroom yesterday, but it really aggravated my back, so I am taking it easy today. I really want to finish my room though. It’s driving me nuts to just sit here.
My house is clean because we have a cleaning service come in every month.
But it’s a bit cluttered.
I live with my elderly parents and help them out as much as possible.
I live in an apartment. I like it well enough. It’s not as tidy as I would like, but I have a toddler that destroys everything as I’m cleaning it up, so nothing is ever truly clean.
I live in a house with my wife and 4 pets. It looks lived in. I have one bedroom full of boxes that haven’t been unpacked. We keep the kitchen and the bathrooms pretty clean though.
I live in a small house with my husband son daughter and three cats. My house is half clean half a mess. We usually have at least one or two rooms that are filled with boxes and clutter and then the rest of the house is straightened. It’s hard for me to juggle my clutterbug mess and my manically clean ways. Some areas are aggressively clean while others are collecting dust and grime. It is what it is.
I like my home just fine but I wish some areas were renovated. Money is an obstacle also.
My house is clean. It was always very tidy but now I have a puppy running rampant leaving toys scattered everywhere in the living room. The only time of day it is absaloutly tidy is at night when she is sleeping and I can actually tidy up. Then the next day it’s all over the place again.
I live in an apartment that I share with one other guy. A mental health clinic rents the place from the landlord and puts two people per unit in a 4-unit building. I personally want the apartment to be clean at all times but my dick of a roommate doesn’t care and he leaves things laying around and leaves messes in the kitchen. I got here 8 months ago and I always clean up after myself and keep my room neat while he lives like a slob in his. He doesn’t have schizophrenia by the way.
But he takes zero initiative to do any chores and at first I didn’t mind. I figured since I was the one who wanted it clean than I would do a little extra. But I started to resent it and I felt he was taking advantage of the situation. Which he was. And a counselor asked me if I wanted her to talk to him about cleaning but I figured I would handle it. So I talked to him and he cleaned a little occasionally but he always does a half-ass job. And then two weeks ago our case manager (we were both assigned the same case manager before we even met) said something to him and now he’s cleaning more. But now I have a huge resentment towards this guy because I did all that work in good faith for months thinking that as soon as I got tired of cleaning I could ask him for help but not only did he never thank me even once for taking on all that responsibility but when I finally asked for help he did a couple of tiny chores and thought that was enough.
After living here 8 months I thought he would have enough respect for me so he would do his half but it took a counselor to make him clean. I’m starting to lose respect for him since he does not respect me. He’s 59 years old and drinks and smokes pot and must be laughing at getting away without cleaning for so long instead of feeling grateful that I didn’t say anything to the agency for so long.
It doesn’t matter to him if the place is clean or dirty and it was making me angry and depressed to see him leaving messes right after I just took a half hour to clean and he knows exactly what he’s doing. And the worst part is that the agency can make him clean but they can’t make him do a good job and it shouldn’t be a win-lose situation but I’m pretty sure he is going to win and the apartment will be messy and have things laying around all the time. Friggin idiot.
Tiny house with 3 bedrooms with one converted to a room waredrobe/storage. I have a small room but a split system airconditioner and it’s cool. Just renovated everything and got some new furniture so it’s looking good. Share with Mum and Dad and two cats!
Apartment is in a nice and new building, love the position, and the view i get to the streets, but as it is common in Eastern Europe, apartments are usually very small - like, a two bedroom apartment is considered a luxury and it costs too much for many working class people.
My apartment is about 70 square meters and it is considered to be enough for a family ( families usually live in these two rooms apartments, including balcony, one bathroom, and kitchen - all very small)…but i find it lacks a space…i can’t be in private anywhere in this apartment.
I keep it clean most of a days. One or two days per a week it usually gets very messy because either i can’t force myself to clean or i don’t have time.
