My friend who’s 23 now, when he turned 22 he was like 'GEEZ IM GETTING SO FRICKING OLD" I’m like “dude I’m 25 and you’re not old”. So how do you think about it? I think I’m very young at 26. And when I’m 40, I will still consider myself young. I think I will always be young. Forever young like the song says. I think I have a youthful soul. I do think I have an old soul (or so I’ve been told) but it’s youthFUL. Full of youth. I have an exuberance about me and I look young. Age is just a number. Do you feel young or old. It doesn’t really matter how old you really are if you feel young. That’s what really matters, how old you feel
I think pacing and hiking will keep me young. Like Don Juan in the Carlos Castenada books. I plan on hiking more once it gets warm out and going on adventures more and I think that’ll keep me young. But pacing 6 1/2 miles a day keeps me in good shape and full of energy!
I’ll be 53 in March, and the only concepts of age that I’m aware of are health issues and wisdom. Other than those two issues I have no way of feeling my age.
How do I think about my age? I’m mid 40s. But the last time I looked I was 26. Then bam. Mid 40s. I’m like ‘How did that happen?’ and grandfather time says ‘you blinked’.
On the one hand I know I’m young, but at the same time, my ability to enjoy my youth is being hurt by the looming knowledge that time will pass no matter what I do and someday I’ll be old and I’ll only have memories and pictures to look back on. And now that I’m having a kid, I feel like my youth is ending way sooner than I’m willing to let it go. Honestly if there was a way I could stop aging permanently (aside from dying) I’d do anything to have it
It’s always irritates me when people say I don’t feel my age… I haven’t changed on the inside… I’m young at heart… actually young at heart doesn’t irritate me that much it’s quite a good concept in a way if you want to look at it like that
My periods Will stop in a few years because of menopause
I have wrinkles
WTF
Who feels old? Esp on the inside
Age is an Extreme sport
I will consider myself old when my age disallows me to ever join the army, though my illness disqualifies me anyways.
I can always go by word of mouth, but I rarely talk to people and my brother never really talks about age. though sometimes we talk about kids nowadays and their modern taste for video games and memes.
@77nick77 It’s interesting people stopped saying you were young at the age of 36, that’s about the age I am at and people tell me all the time that I am still young.
I am not sure how “young” I feel though.
Maybe I have aged well and I just look younger than people think I am. Haha.
People ask me this a lot. There like your 29 are you feeling old? Almost 30!
I don’t feel old at all. I feel like I’m just getting started.
To my close family I explained that I feel that way because I felt like my life was pretty much going to be horrible after 4 years of on off psychosis.
But now I’ve seemed to have remitted.
So it actually feels like I’m getting my life back
I’ve lived life as a teenager up until my birthday few weeks back. I’m 29 now, 30 is becoming real now. Recently I’ve matured and taken life slower, I spend alot more time at home and only go on work nights out - every 3 months or so. I’m looking forward to Saturday, it’s my works Xmas do. I spend much more time keeping in contact with family, exercising, eating healthily, chores etc
