How do you quote someone in your reply? I can’t figure it out.
If you’re on mobile you hold the text to highlight then a “quote” button will pop up. Hit it and bam you’ve quoted someone.
Can’t speak for desktop though as I only use mobile.
Desktop is pretty much the same. Just use the cursor to highlight the text you want to quote, and a quote button should appear. Press it, and it is done.
Got it! Thanks.
Thank you for your help!
How do you quote someone’s name
moved to meta for anyone that wants to reference later. also, just to keep things tidy.
Do you mean tag them, like this @shellys12 ?
Yes thanks that’s right
np. just type the @ symbol and start typing their name and a list will pop up. Sometimes you might have to type a few letters to get the user that you are looking for to choose.
The other options is to just type @ and manually enter full name.
@bohens thanks I have to type manually now as it doesn’t bring up list for me for some reason
I’m not sure on phone. I dont use often. My instructions were for pc.
on pc a list comes up like this:
I just tried on phone and it does the same on phone for me.
Edit: No app installed on test. Just chrome browsing web page test on phone.
Ok thanks again @Bowens
