How can you use the keypad of smartphones

I went to the phone store today and tested a smartphone and found out how difficult it was to use the keypad of this smartphone. Made me not to want to acquire a smartphone.

What kind of smartphone. Android or Apple? There are different keyboard apps for Android, I don’t know about Apple.

I wouldn’t buy a smartphone for browsing the internet. I personally hate typing on a smartphone. And I hate browsing on smart phones too, it’s all too small for me and just annoys me. But a lot of the apps are very handy. I hook my smartphone up to my minivan with Android Auto so I have Spotify and Google maps and other apps all voiced controlled in my minivan. I bought and OBD2 adapter from Amazon and an app to connect to it from the Google play store. I plug the OBD2 adapter into my minivan and use the app to determine what is wrong with my minivan when the engine light goes on, again, very handy.

Don’t base your decision on getting a smartphone purely on browsing the Internet. In my opinion that is what it is worse for, but for a lot of other things a smartphone is very handy. For browsing the Internet I prefer a full sized keyboard and my 27" monitor.

It was a Samsung phone, 125 euros. I prefer my laptop. I do not have any need for a smartphone now.
