I am a pretty good ping pong player and remember when we got a table and I learned how to play. I was, as a beginner, very clumsy chasing balls all over the place. But that is the way I learned. My point is, nobody was breathing down my neck, scolding me every time I did poorly. Like a baby learning how to walk. They are non judgmental and just pick themselves up and try again if no one interferes. What I’m saying is sometimes teachers can be a pain in the butt.
I hear you… when I worked in business I was paranoid and my perception was that everything I said and did rode on a razors edge, as they say. Scared people, aren’t usually successful, so one way or another my perceptions became a reality.
