In September I’m going to China and, if things go well, graduate from day treatment and move to transition care once per week.
I’d like to stick with my peer coaching job throughout this time and hopefully get more clients.
I’d like to reach a place of mental and physical stability.
I’d like to loose 10 pounds.
I’d like to buy a car.
It’ll be nice to enjoy the holiday food and do some cooking and shopping
2 of my friends have their birthdays
New Years fireworks are always nice
Maybe I’ll hear back more from the guy I like
Maybe something unexpected will happen for the better!
Good for you and a great post for us all to visit.
I’d like to lose weight again.
I’d like to maintain what I’ve got and maybe a little more to keep my head above water.
I’d like to do well at summer cricket and at least average 30 or more for the season.
I’d like to be good of health both mentally and physically for another 6 months.
I’d like to do more hobby and non internet stuff.
I’d love a cat but sadly not expecting that this season…
More power to you @anon62973308. I think if you can cross four or five off your list you’ve done extremely well!
I wish you good health in all this second half year so that you can achieve your goals. Fingers crossed for you!
Does no one else have something they’re looking forward to?
You seem high functioning.
You sound so positive!
This is awesome!
I just want things to remain the same for the medium term.
Whoa, slow down with all those dreams and be happy with just one or two of them coming true. My gosh, I’m thinking you’re hopes are way too high. You’ll only be disappointed.
The goal I’m most unsure about is if I can keep working. I might end up switching to volunteering…
I wanna keep my job through winter that’s pretty much my goal. And pay off my cc debt
I’m hoping to find the right full-time job so I can get off disability. I have several good places where I’ve put in applications already.
I also want to continue losing at least one pound a week. I am very dedicated to my weight loss efforts.
I think it’s great to have a list of goals. As long as you know you may not achieve all of them, then what’s the harm in aiming high? It’s like how in school, if you aim for A’s, you might get A’s or B’s or C’s. But if you aim for C’s, which is still passing, you’ll most likely fail. I say go for it! Try your best!
There are only so many pieces of pie a stomach can enjoy in one sitting.
As for grades, we always try for our best. I don’t know a student who deliberately gets a poor grade.
I knew plenty of classmates who only aimed to pass. I even went through a phase like that myself. But I matured and aimed high. Anyway, hopefully some of these goals come to fruition:)
I only didn’t get A’s when I was mentally ill. My ability to understand was muted and I could not care. There was no point in caring. You can’t bleed a turnip.
Idk, I’m doing most things on my list right now. For example I’m starting to car hunt and I go running for exercise. The only thing I’m having trouble with is anxiety from work. That’s why it’ll hopefully be good practice. In fact I made this thread because I had a good Summer and am afraid Winter will be boring. What I’m hoping the most is that something unexpectedly good will happen. I’m very happy with life right now. Though I’m dirt broke and gaining weight.
I hope to keep my job.
I sent an email in violation of my companies privacy act policy today and big brother was watching. I got an email saying it was blocked and not sent and in violation
Later my manager emailed me the warning and said “we will discuss”
He hasn’t talked to me about it yet. Hopefully I don’t get in too much trouble. We have to fax everything to and from our clients. That’s so archaic with scanners these days but that’s our policy.
I hope to have lost a decent amount of weight by the start of fall. And a better job would sure be nice lol.
