I don’t know what I’m having for dinner, it’s only 3:30 in the afternoon here. I might have a bowl of cereal. I miss the hospital food, it actually tasted better than anything i make. I hate to admit it, but i wish i hadn’t been discharged yesterday. I don’t know what to do with myself without that routine in place…

I made a huge batch of meatballs in tomato sauce, put them in the crockpot, and took them to a get-together today. We will have the leftovers tomorrow.

I’ve just literally put a stew on in the slow cooker this morning. It should be ready about 2pm. I put in leaks onion carrots and diced beef.
For seasoning I added garlic, salt and pepper, tomatoe purée onion salt and Worcestershire sauce.
I will add the dumplings later.
It’s actually really nice with a bit of red wine added but cos my boys eat it I can’t add it. Oh well.

I like Lamb stew. My late wife made the best lamb stew ever. I’ve tried to make it, but it was nowhere near as good as the lamb stew she made.

Fish and Chips, on Deliveroo coming in a bit. Im a bit of a mug really, cos if i went down the road and collected it, it would be £12 quid - but having it to my door is £19.
